File format is a creative decision with practical consequences. The right choice depends on what you are making and where it will appear.

JPEG is a familiar choice for photographs and compact web imagery. It uses lossy compression and does not support transparency. Exporting a transparent image to JPEG requires a background; Stock Noble uses white.

PNG supports transparency and lossless compression. It is useful for graphics with clean edges, overlays, and assets that need to sit on different backgrounds.

SVG describes vector shapes and paths. Genuine vector artwork can scale without the same pixelation as a raster image. Changing a photograph’s file extension does not turn it into a vector.

Stock Noble creates PNG and JPEG options from supported image uploads. SVG is offered when the original uploaded artwork is a vector. Always check the available formats on the asset page.
